Catholic Charities
Dedicated to caring for those in need. They provide free meals to those in need, counseling and advocacy for youth and their families, and services for people with disabilities.
CHOW
Aims to STOP Hunger by distributing over 2.2 million meals per year to those in need. CHOW is able to turn every $1 donated into 5 meals for the community.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP)
In-patient and out-patient psychatric services for children, teens, and adults, as well as a mobile team that will address concerns in the community.
Crime Victims Assistance Center
A safe, welcoming environment for people who have been a victim of, or affected by, a crime. Provides free counseling to survivors, as well as a 24 hour crisis line and advocacy program.
Department of Social Services
Provides a range of social services, including SNAP, HEAP, Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance. They also house Children and Family Services.
ENCOREplus
A YWCA program that provides educational workshops and free breast and cervical cancer screenings, as well as transportation to appointments and childcare, as needed.
Fairview Recovery Services, Inc.
Offers professional and compassionate care that is delivered along a continuum of residential and support services for chemically dependent adults living in Broome and surrounding counties.

Food Bank of the Southern Tier
Build and sustains hunger-free communities throughout Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties. Ensures the food that is acquired and distributed gets to the people who need it most.
Foster Grandparent Program
Adults age 55 or over volunteer in classrooms to work one-on-one with children in elementary schools, Head Start programs, daycare centers, and middle schools across Broome County.
