Provides innovative supports for people with developmental disabilities.

A local community college providing Associate's Degrees in a variety of programs. They also provide adult education courses, both for credit and not for credit, and a program for high school students looking to take college level courses.

Provides dental services to children and adults at a reduced rate. Services are provided by both a dental hygiene student and a licensed dentist. Services are free for SUNY Broome Students and Medicaid patients.

A hands-on children's museum located in Ross Park. Also offers a preschool, an afterschool program, and a summer camp.

Provides health assessments, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and counseling, as well as referrals and vouchers for healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five.

The Town of Barker Clerk maintains birth, death, and marriage records. They also oversee licenses and permits such as: hunting, fishing, dog ownership and handicap parking.
