In this romantic comedy, Irish immigrant Eilis Lacey lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a romance with a local, Tony. When her sister unexpectedly passes away, however, she must return to Ireland to help her mother. She must choose between the two countries, two romances, and the lives that exist within.
