Purpose of Meeting
Rural Health Network, in partnership with Broome County, is now able to offer this training free to our community. Mental Health First Aid for Military, Veterans, and Their Families teaches community members to recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of a mental health challenge. The military curriculum incorporates statistics, scenarios, and cultural considerations relevant to our service members and their families/support systems. This is a 2 day course. Each day will include breaks, a 30 minute break for lunch, and time for registration and certification paperwork.
