Celebrate Asian-American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month by watching Crazy Rich Asians, a 2018 romantic comedy-drama based on the 2013 book written by Kevin Kwan. It follows Chinese-American NYU economics professor, Rachel Chu who travels to Singapore with her boyfriend Nick Young. She is shocked to discover that while Nick did tell her that his family is affluent, they are actually extremely wealthy and have a real estate empire, not to mention they are essentially Singapore royalty.
