Join us for a presentation about solar eclipses from a NASA representative! After the presentation, there will be various free family activities and families will have a chance to observe the solar eclipse safely.
FREE FAMILY ACTIVITIES AT THE LIBRARY:
NASA representative, Tish Bresee & other NASA volunteers will show you how to observe the eclipses safely & NASA provides learning materials for your family
- MODELING ECLIPSES WITH BALLOONS
- MODELING ECLIPSES WITH OREO COOKIES
- LEARNING TO USE A “PINHOLE CAMERA” TO OBSERVE THE SUN SAFELY
- LEARNING TO USE “ECLIPSE GLASSES” TO OBSERVE THE SUN SAFELY
