Program Description

Event Details

May the fourth be with you- it's Star Wars Day, and our Monday Matinee is a marathon of the original trilogy.

The First Galactic Empire, led by the iron fist of Emperor Palpatine, has had total control of the galaxy for nearly two decades, brutally repressing any signs of opposition. The Rebellion has stolen the secret plans for the Galactic Empire's superweapon known as the Death Star. Darth Vader and his stormtroopers capture Princess Leia Organa, a leader of the Rebellion but she secretly gives the Death Star plans to two droids (robots), C-3PO and R2-D2.

After Luke Skywalker's adoptive parents buy the two droids and he discovers Leia's call for aid, he joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.

Rated PG.

There will be a break of 15-30 minutes between each movie. Snacks will be provided, or bring your own.
