One-Shot RPG Club (18+)

Join the Broome County Public Library's One-Shot RPG Club for a pulpy horror-western adventure in the game of Deadlands! Play as a gunslinger, a card sharp, a priest, or even a mad scientist as you work together to uncover the truth behind a series of mysterious deaths in an isolated frontier community. We'll be using the Savage World Adventure Edition system, which is built around mechanical simplicity and fast encounters. After signing up, you'll be sent a rules primer and have the opportunity to pick a premade character over email.

NOTE: The game will include pulpy horror themes, with some gore and lots of creepiness. In addition, we'll be playing in an exaggerated version of the historical setting of the American West, but in order to ensure the game remains accessible and fun for all players, we will not be playing out any harmful stereotypes often associated with the genre and period in American history.
