New Emergency Hours
Due to staff shortages, the Library will close at 5:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the month of July. We are open until 8:00pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

New Emergency Hours
We have multiple vacant positions and are having difficulties staffing our service desks. We will close Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:00 in July and August. All programs that were scheduled on those nights have been canceled.

BCPL now offers access to the New York Times online! You can read both inside and outside the library. This also gives you access to other New York Times resources, such as New York Times databases, videos, and teacher resources.

At any given time throughout the year, an imposing statue in the Local History & Genealogy Department can be found dressed as a reindeer, a butterfly, a witch, or even a bride.
