We are pleased to announce that Broome County will be replacing the air handlers on the Library’s roof in October and would like to thank the County Administration, the Department of Public Works, and County taxpayers for this important investment in our facility. In order to complete the project, the Library will be closed to the public from Monday October 14th through Saturday October 19th. During this time, there will be no public access to the Library property, including our parking lot. We will reopen on Monday October 21st. We will be extending the checkout period for all library materials so that nothing is due during this closure. It is our policy to never charge overdue fees for any of our materials. The other libraries in the Four County Library System won’t be impacted by this project and will remain open as usual.
