SUNY Broome Community College
A local community college providing Associate's Degrees in a variety of programs. They also provide adult education courses, both for credit and not for credit, and a program for high school students looking to take college level courses.
SUNY Broome Community College Dental Clinic
Provides dental services to children and adults at a reduced rate. Services are provided by both a dental hygiene student and a licensed dentist. Services are free for SUNY Broome Students and Medicaid patients.
The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier
A hands-on children's museum located in Ross Park. Also offers a preschool, an afterschool program, and a summer camp.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program
Provides health assessments, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and counseling, as well as referrals and vouchers for healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five.
